We turned your ideas and tall toddler tales over to our favorite eco-designer, William McDonough, and our friends at IDEO and Rickshaw Bagworks so they could do their magic. Abracadabra!

Follow the Bag to a Healthier Baby!

In the spring of 2007 we partnered with environmental design expert William McDonough and the design gurus at IDEO to create the ultimate baby bag. Our intent was to make it functional, fashionable, and Cradle-to-Cradle Certified. A bag that won’t harm the Earth at any stage of its life from the day it’s made to the day it carries its last diaper and goes to the great recycling bin in the sky. A bag that’s better for babies and the world they’ll grow up in.

We won’t know for many more months if the first version of the bag will qualify for the rigorous Cradle to Cradle certification, but you can see for yourself that it is functional, fashionable and eco-licious! As the bag gets closer, arrives and then goes on to become world famous you can keep up with its travels in the “Bag Diary” below.
